Help with finishing the coldain ring quest?

I have written all of this quest up until ring 8 - The Velium Ring.

At this point, marching orders are given to Gloradin Coldheart, and a battle sequence is activated.

There is a troop of dwarves that march toward the orc fort.. and at the orc fort, a variety of orcs and giants spawn.

My problem is.. I can't test this alone because I can't be in both places at once to see what all happens. What despawns/respawns? What areas, do they have text?

Looking for fraps, screenshots, logs, and a description of what happens and how it should look. Normally, this isn't needed, and I do it myself. I figure with the amount of level 85+s here, that I would try and crowdsource this very important part of Velious.

I got through ring 8 on eqlive in one day, so it shouldn't be too (time) difficult of a task - especially for more than one person.

After Ring 8, I will also need help recording the 10th Ring War.

When I get home I'll check my logs for 8th ring war.

But basically what happens is the entire Ry'Gorr fort despawns and then 40ish orcs and 8 giants spawn outside (split evenly left and right of the entrance). I think 4 giants flank each side of the entrance and then Ry'Gorr orcs along the wall going out. These should be higher level cons than normal orcs I believe.

Inside spawns the firbrand, chief, oracle and 1-2 named giants (will check logs again). They each always drop a specific item. Blacksmith will always drop dark ember. Chief always drops spine chill spear. Oracle always drops Ry'Gorr oracle shield. (These are 100% drop rates for the 8th ring triggered versions of these mobs) I think the giant named dropped something but I forget. Chief will drop in addition to that loot his head.

Nothing sees invis so you can invis past everything into the fort (which is now empty except those 4-5 named mobs). And harmony them and single pull/kill chief. Then invis back and turn in the head. You have to wait until the Coldain despawns and respawns as a different version before you turn it in though.

Also this part is completely MQable. You can do rings 1-7 on a character then start up the war and let someone else loot the chief head and turn it in. As long as you have non-KoS faction you should get ring 8 on that person(did it 2-3 times on Mac server like that).

With invis the entire event is trivialized though.

you couldnt hand in the chiefs head until the call to charge the fort came in as when the call comes he despawns and respawns a new version (one that can receive the head).
i knew a few people that lost their head that way by handing it in too early.

Also, if there wasnt a group there to help the dwarves kill the orcs and giants, Garadain would often get killed in the war. was never an issue though because as mentioned earlier, you could invis into the fort and harmony or lull (i used an enchanter usually) the orc adds and pull the chief solo into the chiefs hut.

you couldnt hand in the chiefs head until the call to charge the fort came in as when the call comes he despawns and respawns a new version (one that can receive the head).
i knew a few people that lost their head that way by handing it in too early.

That's what my screenshots and party chats seem to indicate: wait until he says "CHARGE"
