We have an update! Does anyone know the character BOUNCERR or any of his alts? Supposedly this guy was trying to MQ my hand not too long ago and likely has my shit

Some of you might remember me from months ago on my characters Lexigan(barb war) and Yobro(barb shaman). I finally got done with my semester from hell and logged on for the first time since the summer and have noticed some of my things have been taken. First, I will admit I gave my info out to 1 person higher up in my guild that my guildies recommended so that we could have a tank for PoS raids if need be. I'm asking for any information in to if anyone has traded with Lexigan, Yobro, or my EC merchant Bigbada. I'm missing quite valuable items such as fungi, RBG, sarnak warhammer, heiro cloak, etc. The odd thing is that I still have all of my platinum on my merchant character so I'm a bit confused. Obviously, I wish I could remember who it was in my guild that I had given my info to, but I'm sure it was passed around while I was gone to help with raids or whatever. I asked my guild and I have just put in a petition so eventually I will probably get a name of who logged onto my account, but in the meantime I am asking of you all for some info as to when or if they saw any of my characters logged in the game between the summer and today. People with helpful information will be rewarded! Please, no comments about "that's why you don't give your account info out". I know it wasn't a random person, but I just can't remember who the higher up was in my guild back then that I gave it to. I know they honestly used my character a few times and never stole anything so I'm hoping they might have just been borrowing my items for their characters as a best case scenario.

Ok looks like the real "Bouncerr" guy left P99 a year ago and gave his account to "Orsk" who posts character sells on the EC forums. His characters are "orsk" "self" and "hitchens". Does anyone know any of these characters that could give some info? I'll update as I know more

I am in dialog with Gaffin 3.0 right now and we are discussing the situation. He says he was approached about my Maestro Hand MQ recently and might have some information that could help. I'm not sure what to believe, but if it ends up where he's really not in the wrong and the GMs are able to verify this... I will let you all know.

Good chance he is one of the 80+ accounts just banned if he was into sharing infos with people.

Correct, Vadd and Vandalize are brothers. Vadd is in FE actually, but he kind of fell under the radar after the suspensions. He last raided with us on December 22nd and I haven't seen him in vent for awhile. I don't think he's sold or quit, but who knows.

Ok I'm clearing Gaffins name on here because he was able to lead me to who really did it. Although he got tied up in the deal, he was not willing to follow through with it and in turn I have spoken to a GM about what he said and the person who did do his has been named and I have spoken to him. He feels bad about it and said he would meet me in game to discuss things going forward. Hopefully things can be worked out and lessons can be learned here. I for sure have learned mine and I'm hoping for a good and quick resolve to the situation. Thanks to all of you for your help!

haha actually there were a couple people that messaged me with good info and they are getting some pp. I will post back here after things get resolved though. I think part of EQ that makes it great is that it is so hard and some items require a lot of time and pp and in turn can make people do things they don't normally do. Pretty sure that is what has happened here with the person that somehow gained access to my account and he has apologized and we are working towards a solution to where he can still keep playing the game he enjoys just like all of us.

When you make your post sorting it all out and naming names, please exonerate those whom you have implicated, too, as necessary.

I've known Vandalize a LONG time and he's an absolutely stand-up guy with unimpeachable character in my experience.

Ok here's the update. It was not Vandalize or Gaffin's doing. I met with the person in game a few minutes ago and they gave me back my fungi, earring of essence, and a couple other items from his character he had in EC and tomorrow we are meeting with our characters at FP bank to get the items that he still has back because some of his characters are in tough spots and we both didn't have enough time to do it all in one sitting. He has agreed to give me back everything that he still has and items/pp of equal value that he sold off. I've decided to not name any specific names because of this and it looks like things will end up ok on both sides and he won't get his account permanently banned or anything when we're done transferring items and pp. Thank you all for your help and those that private messaged me with important info.
