I have music turned on in the eqclient.ini file, as well as making sure the music volume is turned up. I can hear music sometimes, depending on the zone (loading music works fine). But very many zones I remember hearing beautiful awesome music many years ago, I do not hear any. Freeport bank, Neriak, North Ro, etc. Is there a setting I'm missing, or an additional download I need to make? Or is the emulator just not able to replicate most of the music?

I'd greatly appreciate any help you guys can provide. I've searched and searched for an answer/solution to this, and I find things such as AWE32 issue (to simulate the old midi stuff on newer sound cards), but nothing on the severe lack of music in general.

I think it's mainly this. Maybe they're able to replicate it, but it's not a huge priority or they need more information? 99% of the time I turn the music off and listen to my own, so I have no idea.

I see. Thanks guys. Glad to know it's not on my end then. :) Shame all the music doesn't work though. :(

Yes. :) Although I turn them off from time to time because they get to be quite annoying sometimes.

Those locations play for me.

Now see, I was totally accepting of the idea that the music was just borked. Then you come along and tell me that it works for you lol. :) Would you please elaborate on your settings? Apparently, there is something I'm missing.

All of the music works fine. If your computer has a synth setting somewhere ( mine has a sw synth ) make sure that is turned up and not muted.

Also make sure to route an lfo to the band pass filters cutoff crank the distortion and let er rip

I went and messed around with all the settings again, and I got it working! :) Thanks a ton!

I don't know either, all I have is 2 songs:
1) DURR DUT DURR DUT DUN DUN DUN DUN(Combat music)
2) plingplingplingpling PLING PLING PLING, PLING, PLING plingplingplingpling (Merchant music)

Quite frankly, that's all you need.

Nothing stirs the senses quite like the seafaring music (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FU1Fz9LWFtg) ...its amazing what you can find out at sea, arrr!
