I handed a book in on one of my characters and frustratingly got de-tagged as pvp when I walked in and out of an arena. Try that first before making the trek/quest?

Is the full quest completion required for removing PK status?

If so, ugh, you might as well start your character over. That last mob you have to hail in the Qeynos bar can take literally days to appear.

why not just stay red? not like its going to matter much can only be attacked by other reds right?

Later on it got relaxed.

The reversal is a pretty awesome quest line though, once you finish it and look back. It certainly isn't something you'd get in modern games.

Obviously it would go faster now days with all the help you can get, but still, worth doing and learning.
