Hello all,

A group of friends and I are returning and was wondering which is the most needed or under played classes on p1999?

Thanks

Server has enough of everything for sure.
Just play whatever you think is the coolest

Playing a class you enjoy will stop you leveling 6 classes to 20 :p

Clerics/enchanters, and tanks at later levels.... all get groups quickly if LFG time is what you're worried about.

This gets asked constantly. I'm not sure why...I guess people think it will help them get groups? But the answer is always the same. Needed, anyway. Underplayed - pallies and rangers.

Insight from a new player :
You often find yourself in need of tank from 20 to early 40ies because all priest can manage to throw enough healing. Knights are pretty rare and there are never enough warriors. I don't know after 50 but when only clerics can heal properly its probably different.

Bards and Wizard seem both very low pop and very needed in raiding guilds.

Enchanters population seems high but considering how good they can solo its not easy to find one available and willing to adventure into a risky dungeon.

Ranger is the most powerful class by far, the most sought after in groups, the fastest to 60, and the least played.

Playing what you want, of course, is the most important thing. That being said, I do know how it can factor into a decision so here:

Good luck and welcome to the server

See Rangers are least played class, therefore everything else I said is true too.

Thanks for the quick responses.

We have 6 people starting tonight. We will be guild shopping soon if anyone wants to accept old eq vets starting over but this is for a different thread :)

Thanks again

If any of you plan on playing from the same house you need to goto the petition forum and read the sticky to petition for a IP exemption.

6 Ranger party. All bow-kiting with snares. It can work.

that would be so fun and funny. as a solo ranger if you root and bow at like level 20 you can take down 1/8 health in a shot or 2 so you could drop blues pretty fast at that level atleast.
