xsplit (local recording)

are some you can use for recording

you can use sony vegas for editing, you can do cheesy intros that look like you know what you're doing by downloading adobe after effects and search the internet for "video co pilot tutorials" and you can more or less download whole project files and just insert your text into it (mitic style)

I wanted the best programs for it, I heard Fraps was NOT a good one and wanted a reliable one. That is all, don't be mad that I asked a solid :) Thanks for tips

I used MSI afterburner to record.

I used a few different programs to edit

mostly windows movie maker to edit lol... My videos were never really about the editing, they were about the pvp action so i didnt require/care about much editing.

and i only invested 5-10 minutes in the editing process

DO NOT use fraps. absolute worst program ever. When I run fraps i go from 60 FPS to llike 14 FPS and almost unplayable. When I used MSI afterburner i go from 60 fps to like 45 FPS. random choppyness now and then will fuck you up a little bit while you are recording but still totally playable.

all my season 1 videos were frapsed

season 2+ i learned about msi afterburner and things got a lot better.

recording makes you more vulnerable dont forget that. you gotta step up your game, I know you can handle it tho ur a pro.

Fraps is old, don't use it. Go with xsplit imo.
