It's expensive and of very limited utility. I don't recommend you do this until you're bored, 60, and have some extra plat to burn.

those paralyzing root poisons look like they'd made a rogue a viable substitute (in a pinch) for a slower. 50% slow is nothing to sneeze at...

The root and snare poisons are pretty nice. The snare sucks in PvP though, had Spirit of Sloth break in about 10 seconds on a lv 30. I've seen pretty good results with the root poison in PvP. If you think you can find a way to get use out of them, go for it. I never had the free inventory space necessary (4 slots + container + space for unstacking poisons = 20 combines worth).
