I have asked around, looked around, checked old web pages and they say there are large sewing kits but when I checked the vendors that they are supposed to be sold, they were not there. So my question is, is there or isn't there large sewing kits in classic EQ (p1999)? If there are large sewing kits does anyone know for sure where to get one?

If you are refering to the 8 slot, 0.3 weight sewing kits, the vendor by the noob lift in Kelethin should sell them. That is the only place I know of for sure unless a recent patch has chenged that as well.

The above three locations do indeed sell them and I think there is a 4th location in either the troll or Ogre home town, but I have not confirmed this.

Yes, just outside of Oggok in one of the stone huts to the left (if facing away from Oggok).

Spoolie Gee (merchant) in the NRO inn sells them as well.

Merchants in WK close to QH zone have them too - not the closest cluster of houses, the next cluster E of that.

The only place i did find one is in East Freeport at the Leather and Hide shop, talk to Sanhan Tanner (72.33, -568.29, -52.84)

Word to the wise, take EQTC and ZAM w/ a grain of salt for p1999. You can get a sense eventually of what types of information are dated and what are not. But yeah, EFP ftw - I was a sad monk in Qeynos for a bit there.
