I would suggest the smaller denominations to more people. Simply because 1k to a brand spanking new newb is enough to set them up on any class and you'll have a much higher chance of your plat making a long term difference. 25k might setup a really good twink for someone who still doesn't have the stomach for EQ and then its just gone when they quit.

The Felwithe > Kelethin route is super fast. At level 4 you still get 11% per turn in (bonus, you make 3-16ish gold per turn in. Not bad newbie cash).

If you're whiley you can get someone to bind in you Felwithe next to the bard (run across the bridge, turn right through the short tunnel and he's standing there just outside a building), get the mail. Run outside, attack a guard, get another letter. Then run outside again and drag your body with you to the bard guild in kelethin. You can then do 2 really quick turn-ins for 22% of a level. Then punch the bard for a fast return to Felwithe (no xp loss at your current level). You could theoretically do it with a bunch of bodies and do a ton of turnins at once but dragging more than 1 body is a chore since you have to target them individually.

Bank you gear first and just loot the gold off your corpse in Kelethin each time.

I've made about 300 plat so far, and I feel wealthy for a lvl 19. 1000 would make leveling so much easier.

plus isn't there a 1k plat twink guide for multiple classes on the wiki? Could go hand in hand quite well for newbies.

gonna do 5x 5k

if you wanna be elidgible for the rolls you must be:
1) between lvl 6 and 45'
2) not anon or roleplay during the time

1st 5k will go between priests, each druid shaman cleric there meeting requirements will have a number. The ammount will be then be randomned on and number who comes out is a winner
Same with casters, 2nd 5k for necro mage ench wiz
3rd 5k price will be for tanks, war pal sk
4th 5k is for melees, ranger rog monk bard
and the 5th one will be open to all classes of those lvl

remember, lvl 6-45 only (hard to control, but if you have higher lvls..dont be a douche and bring yer low lvl alts wanting to score free money, let first players / low lvls mains their shot)

This is a great deal man. I just started here last week and Ive played a few different characters before deciding on a troll shaman. I was so excited when I read this thread. I started about a week ago and its been rough going for cash to start out with. When the time came on wednesday, I busted my hump with no sow to be had anywhere. As I slowly crawled towards EC, I crashed every time I zoned. The final zoning into EC I crashed (of course) and then was locked out by error 1018 for nearly 20 minutes before it would let me back in. As I drug myself up that tunnel to the shady swashbuckler I see the crowd had dispersed and the excitement was long over. I could have cried. Wtf is with all the zoning/logging in and out crashing? I get it several times a day.
