man i got a little taste of the fabled "bad trip". Husband turned into the cheshire cat on me after a lil pot including full on serpentine facial aspect. Completely delusional that everything he was saying was sarcastic and obliquely attacking me and spiraling through realizing it was all in my head back into full immersion into paranoia and guilt and self persecution every 5 min for a couple hours. Could not follow his actual point and had to tell him to stop talking because everything he said was coming through as terrifying gibberish. Very helpless feeling.

Meanwhile I was completely functional at doing computer stuff requiring some semblance of high level rational thought. Just my ability to socialize seemed completely wrecked with other people's sentences coming through like spaghetti and music lyrics seeming to talk to me.

I find it to have less of a depressing comedown cycle. When I bought it the guy actually told me it was acid lol. Couldn't realy tell the difference aside from subtle things. Then I tested it. No complaints though.

their main advantage was you could cheaply buy huge supplies of them from the internet since they weren't explicitly illegal under US law.

now, though, the law has been updated and they are no longer a grey area -- they are outright Schedule 1 drugs according to the DEA. so now you can't legally order them from the internet.

What if you had decided you wanted to really trip balls and pop a 10-strip, only to die of overdose (very real threat with any of the 2c family)? I don't think I've ever even heard of anyone dying of a 2CB overdose. It's not much of a threat for sure, even if you do go a bit mad.

If you're doing drugs at all, you'd want to research things a little more thoroughly before using them. There have been many deaths from 2CB overdose whereas with LSD, you need something like $50,000 worth to die from OD.

Kratom is too much of a hassle to eat. The golden era of pods was a pretty great time, but they're hard to find and expensive now. I recently kicked dope and got on suboxone instead. The tar in seattle is so gross it was gonna make my arm fall off. It's much easier to get on subs these days and my insurance covers it completely. I don't even have to go to bullshit meetings.

kratom is pretty good actually, crazy cheap too. It's actually fairly easy to eat the powder if you just do little bits at a time - drop a comfortable amount on the back of tongue, swallow it like a pill, repeat about 4 times and I'm dosed. Being that I refrain from hard drugs these days it's a miracle substance for me.

I wouldn't do it daily though, it hits way more receptors than just opiate. Withdrawal from a heavy habit would be equivalent to a poly-drug withdrawal simultaneously.

I assumed control over my ex's alcohol use because she was a sloppy mess who needed a father. Regularly denied her alcohol.

I would give her a sleeping medication instead with her consent (no cosby) as a more emotionally-stable solution to her need to tranquilize herself.
