SK/PAL/BARD/RANGER belts are all 16% haste

MONK/ROG/WAR belts are 21% haste

This might be tough if the people you are selling loot rights to aren't keyed. Doubly so since the keys poof when you log.
I guess you can just kill them and summon their corpses or something but this also takes time....

The idea is a bit complicated but it goes like this.

You agree to purchase a belt.
You are level 46+
You have the money in hand.
You get ported up to Sky.
You get killed in a duel on the first island.
You wait........
When the item drops your corpse gets summoned to wherever the item is rotting.
You get a rez message.
You pay, loot, then jump off the island.

In this option you are basically stuck doing nothing till that items actually drops.

Other option is you go up twice before the item even drops.
Once to get killed...
then a second time (rez) to loot (most of) your gear and jump off the island leaving the mostly naked corpse behind.
This is so you can actually play the game while waiting. The wait can be pretty damn long.
You need to run around with all the plat on you... unless you paid in advance (not recommended for any transaction).

However I think you need to be grouped with the necro in order to get the summon so this option might not be very viable. It's doable, but again adds precious seconds that you need to get the drop before it rots.

In both situations it's a race against the clock to make sure the item doesn't rot.
You may also be charged for the port (unless they were planning on porting people anyway).

Don't shrug at the 16% haste belts for hybrids as this is enough to meet the haste cap in classic which is 75%.
(SLTW = 60% + 16% haste = max cap.)

Wizzie takes rez. Or for laziness wizzie falls, let's keys poof, picks you up, gets a summon as well.

Well then, if he's wrong, then it's wrong on this server. Haste cap is supposed to be 74% (at level 50) according to all the research I've seen.

Haste cap at level 50 is like 74-75%.
I have heard some claim it's 80% but that's splitting hairs and have seen no proof of this.
So... what exactly do you mean about me being wrong about it?
16% belt haste + 60% spell haste (SLTW) = above cap. :)

Nah, most of what you're selling is commons, and that statement's not true for those. Anyone who clears fear/hate regularly could do the first island or two, and the common loot drops there just like on isle 4.

Most guilds definitely WON'T get to it soon, though, because even if you listened to the forum trolls and were like, "sharing is caring," all the rest of the guilds wouldn't share that sentiment (even if you offered it to them =p).

So shameless advertising /off, and back /on again; it's still rare enough :)

Or they want the other gear they're killing stuff in PoS for, and these drops are an aside to that, so rather than letting them rot, they can sell them and benefit both parties.

Or maybe they can do what you asked and not try to get gear in PoS as a guild at all since they're full on the most common drops. Ok. I bet their members would love that.
