Are you skeptical or a believer tho?

UFO think tank is a decent podcast where they try to break down encounters/videos/images in a somewhat skeptical manner. Never do they say anything is alien craft, just that its unexplained, etc.

here's the feed for podcast players:

I get that most people want a scientific or logical explanation for things unexplainable.
Gonna check that podcast out when I get to a better location.
Cheers! =D

Yeah, you're not alone with that view. Perhaps kind of like how we find the microbes on Mars & some stuff from rocks that zoom around the cosmos & land here for us to figure out. Someone resurrect Carl Sagan pronto!

I'm iffy on it all, on one hand it's interesting, on the other, science. But then again I would like to think the one constant of all science has been failure. I'm not on board 100% with the idea that we have it all figured out right now.

I do like things like Gobekli Tepe though that kind of force question about our understanding of human history.

I'd seen some of that on that Ancient Aliens with that wind tunnel hair guy that gets real passionate about that stuff like: Machu Picchu, Choquequirao and all the other ones I cant think of atm. I'd buy that dude some beers just to hear him off camera.

These guys really want to believe, they are trying very hard to look at UFO's in a way where it can't be easily dismissed as simple nonsense. More credibility needs to come to the field because most people just look at UFO researchers as wackjobs. That stigma needs to change.

Some people are so narrow minded, that no amount of evidence will ever be enough. Although they didn't turn out that way by accident either.

Do you know what the original purpose of TV programming was (and still is)? As a form of mind control; to pre-condition people to accept only certain things as real and others as unreal, as well as pre-condition people, to react to certain types of content in a certain way. Look up "subliminal TV programming" if you want to know more on this subject. It has been going on since the 50s, and is still ongoing today. This isn't any conspiracy theory either, it's just reality, whether you decide to accept it or not.

Man the only thing I watch anymore is bubble guppies and peppa pig. I wonder how far mind is being controled.

Here's a good example, it all looks innocent at first, until it doesn't...

"Subliminal Sex in Disney?"

Companies have used sex to sell their products ever since the advertising craze started. Some do it overtly, others use more sneaky methods: subliminal sex!

Following my post last week, some were surprised. Some sceptic. Some disgusted.

But did you know that kids movies also have subliminal messages? And worst: subliminal SEX messages.

Don't believe me? Take a look at these images from Disney movies...

The ones that use subliminal messages to get to the consumer. It is based on the idea that your mind assimilates EVERYTHING it sees, even the bits that you may not be aware of. Your subconsicious 'sees' it and you react to the stimuli.

Not worth my time to believe in UFOs etc. until they have some actual undisputed evidence about their existence (which they don't, I don't care what that stoner on the History channel claims). I take the same stance with religion. It is very dangerous when you make up a conclusion with no evidence and then try to find evidence to support it, rather than looking at the existing evidence (if any) and seeing what conclusions you can draw from it.

On the other hand it's a pretty fascinating thing to read about. You guys should check out Confessions of an Alien Hunter by Seth Shostak, the dude in charge of SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence), because he talks about the overwhelming probability that alien life exists from the viewpoint of a skeptic working in an organization whose very job is to look for alien life. It's a good read.

I think the majority of stuff like this is on an individual level. Meaning, the artist was sexually frustrated when it was drawn or it was done by an artist with a vendetta against the company. I guess, in the end, what would be the purpose of an animation company as big as Disney pushing an agenda to turn all young girls into whores? I just don't see the motive behind it.

My open mind is just waiting patiently to see some irrefutable evidence of UFOs. The same goes for Bigfoot.
