View Full Version : Classic Smithing
So I recently got my enchanter's smithing to 100-ish and have been selling banded armor, and once I build up enough money I'm going to start raising it higher. I've been using eqtraders as a resource and it's been mostly accurate so far - I've been avoiding the obviously post-classic recipes - but now I'm getting kind of uncertain. Is there a good resource for classic smithing recipes? I'm not only interested in how to level it, but what I can make with it.

For Classic recipes unsullied by expansions try the Wayback Machine on www.archive.org...

Thanks, this is useful, but some of the pages are not archived and some of them seem to include Kunark. Is there perhaps a more coherent, definitive resource on it?
Also, the link you gave me references (in a smithing guide) getting ore from tarnished weapons. This is not in P99 - is this a bug?

No, I think they changed in a patch or two ago.

Check the Wiki too - I put up a Blacksmithing section, but much of it was taken from EQTraders.com anyway. For the most part.

There's two good guides on there - but you'd find that with MGel's suggestion anyway ;)
