View Full Version : Tradeskills: how does work?

I know what the various tradeskills are from reading the wiki, but I can't seem to find the exact use of any specific tradeskill. What I ask from the awesome(?) community is for someone to kindly explain to me what each tradeskill does.

(Sorry for not already knowing this kind of thing, I'm one of the tiny population of p99ers who haven't played everquest before this server. I'll be a pro someday. Maybe.)

Baking makes food
Brewing makes drinks/alcoholic beverages
Pottery makes +2 wis range item and poison vials
Smithing makes armor and weapons
Tailoring makes armor
Jewlercrafting makes jewlery
Fletching makes bows/arrows

I don't believe anyone has figured out what poison making does. We are, however, hesitantly speculating that tinkering has something to do with tinks,
whatever that may be.

For alchemy, talk to katagterb. Think that's anime related.

Tradeskills create items. The higher your skill, the more special the items. Special items are good. And some skills are needed for some quests.

Poison Making used for coldain ring 9 and pvp. And for the amount of effort required, mother of god...
