Hey I know tere are mixed feelings on the very classic UI but does anyone know if there is one available anywhere? The one that only gave you vision of like 1/2 your screen lol. And when you meditated with your book open you literally couldn't see the screen hah.
Thanks in advance,

the one in technical discussion just fucks up your files and makes you have to reinstall, tread carefully and let me know if you find one
unfortunatly velious ui seems to be the most classic while still functioning

Hmm, well I'm not sure if an actual recreation of the classic UI has been made but there is one that resembles it for the more widescreen resolutions that EQ has been played on since then, it just isn't as classic or boxy as the original haha. Original from what I saw was exclusively square and low-res

I use default old and arrange my windows in a classicy layout. The only problem is the spell gems are mixed up in default_old. Anyone know a way around that?

If you stretch your windows to make a pseudo-classic UI, you aren't doing yourself any favors. An important aspect of the old UI was that it shrunk the actual view screen, so you still had your full field of vision despite the viewable window being only a portion of the screen size. The majority (maybe all?) of custom reproduction UI's don't do this.

Woops wrong thread linked in my last post, this one has the classic looking ui thats adjustable
http://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3680
*edit* dead download link in the post above, not sure if a version of this is on these forums currently soo
*edit edit* http://forums.axclassic.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=1774 <-- one I've used here
http://www.eqinterface.com/downloads/fileinfo.php?id=4726 <-- a different link to what appears to be a simliar if not the same adjustable classic ui, might be for a later client though, from what the axclassic thread says looks like there was a version of this for later eq clients that doesn't function as well for older EQ clients

Not classic obviously, but I would definitely kill for a viewport adjuster. Resizing my viewport and putting all of my hotkeys/UI information in dead space would be A-OK with me.
