Nihilum is 100% the good guys/vets/professional upstanding gentlepersons, ladies these days.

Azrael is a loosely held allegience between top dog pvpers with a bunch of thugs and followers who just sorta circlejerk around the power lite and his pals wield.

Ohhhhhh, there's good people in Azrael and even the mavericks can be charitable. But if I had to pick a "righteous side".

Ironically Nihilum is the only damn guild with any integrity, because they never had any to begin with.

Yeah I'm flaky in that I sometimes get bored with EQ and disappear for months at a time, but really if you're not loyal to your guild that's pretty lame imo. A person should never accept a guild tag lightly, and I've never been one to switch sides at the drop of a hat. Actually only switched sides on live once, and here uhm never. So it's kind of important to make the right decision the first time.

Nihilum has the poorest track record of treating MIA players badly. Azreal is much more flexible in that regard if you have long periods of inactivity.

Why do you all have to be so goshdarn unappealing? Azrael has Sickpuppy and similar, likes to train and has a history of character stripping and RMT. Nihilum has Vaporize and similar, likes to CC and has a history of character stripping, RMT and exploiting. And ofc you're at each other's throats over their transgressions while never addressing your own.

Each guild sucks and each guild is awesome just depends who you are and what your goals are.

Azrael was the underdog for a long time then became top dog and now there is goog competition for that spot. Azrael has history of coming and going. Victories will taste sweeter in azrael but prolly be feasting on more losses compared to nihilum


Nihilum isnt going anywhere. Best bet of seeing velious in its full...if it comes. You get what you put into the guild.

I've teamspeaked with players from both guilds and listened to both their complaints about how people are treated on both teamspeaks. I have personal experience on Red Dawn/Azreals original ventrillion/teamspeak.

Nilly does have quite a few mature (and immature) players. The leadership are stern about keeping the forums and ooc clean (yes I've been told to stfu a few times!), whereas the opposition seems to be banking on running nihilum into the ground with non stop anti-nihilum sentiment and trolling (endorsed by their leadership).

Nizzar is a great leader who puts in great deal of effort to help make end game raiding as painless as possible and tries to ensure your time is not wasted during raiding hours.

I haven't played in azrael but have played with a couple of their members back in the day and they do have some cool people. (As well as people that seem to be cool on the surface but turn around and e-grief you in game and on the forums because you got your epic before they did - looking at Salem)

Overall from what I can see there is less tolerence in nihilum for immature behaviour. So if you want to play with a more mature crowd (with the exception of a few!!) then you should give Nihilum a try.

I know right now the opposition is starting to bleed numbers again and nihilum is starting to snowball, but I'm hoping a3rd guild may be feasible again for velious , to keep the guilds in equilibrium.

If people know it is propaganda then it isn't good propaganda. Need more subtle forum questing and funny posts everyone can get on board with in my opinion.
