I've gone to a few of my old haunts from when I played Live, but I haven't had much luck getting any groups. Maybe people are congregating someplace else? What would ya'll suggest for the best place to find groups at this level range?

Kurn's and Oasis of Marr crocs seem always popular.

Oasis of Marr. I went from 12 to 19 there easily enough. Sometimes you get lucky with an orc alley group. Sometimes a kind monk comes along with a giant or two in tow, only to FD and allow your group to finish it off for really great EXP!

TR in crushbone is always an option at that range. And of course, all the other places mentioned.

There's some streamer fish in TD that are 10+ & bandits in upper teens too.

Thanks guys! I'm playing a Halfling Rogue. I've been spending most of my time in CB, but without a TR group, the chance at exp is pretty limited. I'll probably be heading in the direction of Oasis. I also completely forget about Kurns Tower!
Kurns is great, but getting there is the pain. If you plan on staying a long time then it might be worth it.

Kurns is a waste of time for anyone not iksar.
Don't bother going there and foregoing important spells and skills from 10-20. It isn't worth it.
Just level near wherever your character started. Unless Erudite, then gtfo of Odus.

I somewhat disagree. It's fantastic if you're a young necro and want to build up your bone chip cache with a very good ZEM and a small shot at a valuable random drop. You can buy the spells in advance or pay porters to go get them for you.
The flip side of the travel time is most people don't travel that far to level, so Kurn's is frequently sparsely populated.
It might also be effective for good guys because there are a few types of trainers in FV, including paladin/ranger/warrior trainers...
But there are a ton of other places that are more or less as good a place to level.

Bandits in WK. They give good xp and drop sashes which you can turn in for lots of xp and bronze items which sell for 1-4pp.

Oasis is great, Upper Guk i don't think would be terrible at that level either if you can find a rooting/snaring class.

I know. Now there are going to be level 20's wiping all the bandits for 1/2% per turn in. What have you done!!!

Word of advice. You are a Rogue. Rogues can't really solo. Ergo, you HAVE to go to zones that have a lot of group activity in them. Unrest, Upper Guk, Oasis of Marr at your level come to mind. It is what it is. :rolleyes: Forget Kurns tower. NO place to train. Pain in the ass to get to and get back. And you are getting nearly too high to bother.

North Karana is the only answer. Kill the wisps, turn in the Greater Lightstones to the gypsy Mrysila for 4% of exp and a book that vendors for 10 plat. Turn in the Lightstones for 2% exp. Exp off the wisps until they turn light blue at 15/16 and make a bunch of plat in a hurry.

North Ro is always my haunt from levels 8 to 13ish with all those damn spiders and scarabs wandering about. It's got both Oasis and EC right next door as well, how can you pass that up?
Well, it's a pretty boring area of the world quite honestly but there's generally never any competition in North Ro so it's got that going for it. WK Bandits as previously stated are tons of fun but they will backstab the shit out of you so be careful.
If you have lull you could even go to Kerra Island but if I remember correctly Lull is absolutely required because it is NOT a forgiving place when everything is so close together and they're all social.
Edit: Kera Island is listed as 15-35 on the wiki, don't go there very often I thought it was slightly lower. YMMV

Kerra Island is actually amazing in a small group, because the zone is almost always empty. The problem with soloing (or going with a bad group) is that there's a ton of healers in Kerra, and most mobs have SoW because the mobs path and buff everyone. Even being a second late on snare will cause problems.
Uguk is great, but there's also a ton of trains and low level groups dying left and right. Try not to be in one of those groups.

West katana excellent xp of the bandits. their are multiple camps of bandits (6) that i counted last time each camp with 5 bandits or more. their are single pulls also along the edges of these camps as their are usually 2 bandits that patrol to or out of these camps. their are 2 static 2 spawns one near the farm near zone to qeynos hills and one in middle of the road just past the ogers camp valley.
As many have said bandits can drop bronze weapons (human male /females in leather) along with bandit sashes which you can also turn in for more bronze weapons. I recent turned in 8 sashes on an alt and along with bronze i had already got to drop i made close 45 Plat.
