General V'ghera Too OP?

I know rogue epic is massively easy over all, but this final fight is FAR from classic, I know people are selling the Rogue, and the rule kinda is dont you have your epic when you create as a rogue is a common theme, but why is this mob excluded from the "Classic" project? Because it common to see a rogue epic? Cant the same be said about Monk, Shaman, and Cleric? They are all about the same but the only mob Ive seen so far be changed from a classic state is Rogue...Anyone tell me why its like this?

yeah i know use to 1 group it easily, but a while ago that wasnt the case it literally took like 3 grps to even fuck with him, he was hitting insanely. not sure now though.

Moreso than RMT or anything else, it appears there is this effort by some to take the challenge and thusly the feeling of reward out of what is involved in the game here. Why?

Took him out 6 times on Aug. 5th. He hit me for 200, 300ish and had that 500 point lifetap ("You feel as though your soul is being consumed").

All of that damage (around 1k) happened in less than one second.

Anyway, yeah, he's proccing that lifetap now. Our main tank was getting a 5 second Cheal rotation and we had no problems. I'd say the General is dealing out about 6k every 10 seconds now (on fully buffed tanks)

Yeah we had a 2 man donals rotation on a 60 warrior mid-tier geared (maying missing 250 hp from BiS), no shm buffs, and it was tough on a 10 sec rot. Ended up moving it to regular cheals when evasive was about off.

Didn't we all go through logs last time Lhranc was changed and it effected the General due to similar mechanics and was WAY over tuned? Then after logs were reviewed General was tuned down, but still harder than it was before the Lhranc patch. If you are looking for a post on alla that says it was killed with 2 BP clerics and a warrior during the 8 months between Kunark and Velious, you aren't going to find it.

Just look at the posts on alla that say they were fighting him with 16 people and only 1 rogue, 2 sub 55 warriors, 2 shaman, a 55 monk, a 55 mage, talk about useless DPS. If we don't have 4 rogues show up to a General fight it's a slow night. Just because people brought useless classes to a general fight to bulk up the numbers doesn't mean with the right classes you shouldn't be able to do it with less.

I think it is a harder mob than it was a year ago. But its not like anyone on here is going to go in there and solo it anyways. Takes fewer people like been stated than a LOT of final epic mobs do. :p Few good friends and you are golden.
