Theres much better drummers than Barker out there no doubt. But hes famous for a reason. His remixes of rap songs are just plain awesome. I cant stand Soulja Boy....any song. I wish I could find a live video of it but I've always felt that the single best drumming I have ever heard is by Ralph Humphrey on Frank Zappa's Over-night Sensation album - specifically the song "Camarillo Brillo". Seriously, just like the whole song the guy is ripping it up. Definitely a lot of really talented people out there though and some great videos in this thread.

For those of you unfamiliar with Zappa - here is a link to Camarillo Brillo. The sound seems a bit off in this video, but what can you really expect from youtube.

Oh man drummer for zappa is the bomb. I never understood how he could remember all the timing like he did... was amazing. Drumming like that is real talent, jamming around in front of people to a strobe light is gross.

Flailing around isn't good drumming. So he doesn't have a double bass... my b. I found the video appalling and embarrassing so I didn't watch much of it. Anybody can flail around on a drumset its very easy.
