First Project 1999 Rollback

Due to an issue introduced in the patch this morning (the one that was done at around 8 AM EST), corpses were being duplicated in the database. This didn't become apparent until the zones were restarted, causing them to reload all the new corpses.

Due to the vast amount of duplicated corpses, it would take too much time to sort through and remove all the incorrect corpses and items.

I am initiating the server's first rollback to the state of the database before this morning's patch. This is roughly a 12 hour rollback.

I have enabled DOUBLE XP for the time being. This will probably last a few days.

Reimbursement requests can be made for items looted from a mob that were lost due to the rollback. We cannot reimburse lost XP or anything created from tradeskilling. Please make these requests in the petition forum. You can reply here with questions about what can and can't be reimbursed.

The server will be back up within 30 minutes.

Thanks for the info Rogean. Being off work due to illness allowed to play most of the day, though i never died, so didnt notice any issues with corpses. Made 95% of a level, but with double exp I can earn that back over the next day or two.

oh...and sorry you had to experience the tell rage. I am often mystified by the actoins of some (a small few i would hope) in the mmorpg genre.

Oh thank God! I woke up this morning and logged in and I was in the same place I was when I woke up yesterday morning and logged in (which was not where I logged out). The day sucked so bad I didn't even get a chance to log on the rest of the day and I was worried I was in some kind of Groundhog day loop.

I had just run my lvl 12 enchanter to Highpass to get my lvl 12 and 16 pet spells. I logged out by 7 am, the spells are gone now.

Thanks... for the point in the right direction, that is, not the condescension. It didn't occur to me to treat it as a petition, I guess. I figured they'd have a specific place for it.

Moot point now anyway. I'm sure the only thing they would replace is fixed already. I couldn't believe my eyes when I logged on and the rare spawn I killed during the rolled back period was right there in front of me again. I didn't get both drops but I got the one I wanted most.
