Don't know exactly how this goes but guessing I'll go snag the shell and hand that in for Ixiblat to spawn.

Ixiblat spawn almost no one cares about. The note you get after spawning Ixiblat, turns into Pearl which spawns Ragefire. That is what most people are after.
