Old-timer misses the good old times (Rodcet Nife Server)

Hello folks,

Auxn Sawbones here. I was a dwarven cleric on the Rodcet Nife server back in the day.

Are there any members of Arcane Legacy/Avatars of Discord/Exiled Legion around that remember me? I have tried for many years to enjoy MMOS the way I enjoyed EQ1, but I can't seem to find that old magic! How is project 1999 treating you folks?

another Rodcet Nife player here. I was Palion back in the day, member of the Warlords of Wrath. I do remember you mostly from LGuk.

Server has a great commmunity in the 3+ weeks I've been here, having a blast.

Also from Rodcet here as well, as Bengala naturally. Created Junn Hoarde guild and still in it today. Ran around with Anarchy Incarnate quite a bit, have to give them some props since they enabled me to obtain my epic back then.

Madmiller was. However, he only got to like level 3-4. Madmmiller was my monk that I created later on and actually got to 60 + Epic/etc. :)

I felt kind of silly later on in having to make a variant name of the original while the original character was barely played...

Hey there! Also from Rodcet Nife, my main was my druid Udiyen in Outcast Adventurers. I didn't get started until the end of Velious/start of Luclin though.

As for your question, p99 is great! I've been enjoying it just as much as (if not more than) live. I would definitely recommend it over most modern MMOs.

Hey Auxn. Coeur just pointed me to this thread. Long time no see brotha! Honch started a Avatars of Discord guild on the p1999, but its pretty much dead now. :( A lot of RN players are in TMO now days.

I remember the name, he was a Bard or a Wizard? I have lost contact with all of the old gang and haven't heard from them since 2004. Like Lavinda, Teleriel, Dyermaker, Fargus and so many more.

I was in Exiled Legion with you long ago on a human wizard named Aarorn. I really only played the 1st two expansions but I remember you and Albrecht Hammerfell as our healers. Other names I remember were Honch - Warrior, Delheru - Cleric, Reia - Shaman, Malligan - SK, Glayde - Bard, Corona- Wiz and a few others. It's been so long. My toon name is Yoshs here and I just started.

I remember playing with Albrecht, Honch, and Delheru at very early levels. Corona and I met at lvl 17 along with Vanitia, both wizards and we played for a many levels together. Vanitia and I went on playing together though lvl 60. I cannot remember, but didn't Corona start a successful guild?

I played on Rodcet till SoV and again during GoD ( i think? ), and was in the guild ascent since the beginning. A few of the names in this thread are real familiar and I even had the extra surprise of reconnecting with an old old EQ friend that I hadnt talked to him 10+ years!

I just started playing on p1999 after playing on Thehiddenforest server for a year.

If anyone remembers me, hit me up. I'm using the same name on p1999- Koraf.

Haha I recognize so many of these names. I was Guzum Elfmolestor, troll shaman. Used to also play my buddies dwarf cleric Kaladaf. One of my best friends irl played Tiiden a high elf mage in Conviction. I was in Heroes of Mithril Hall, Apotheosis and countless other guilds. I rarely see any other RN folks.
