Hey dudes, just came across this game the other day and it looks pretty sweet(the only new game I'm actually looking forward to really).

The basic jist of the game is similar to that of Haven and Hearth or Salem, where each player is more like a unit in a strategy game that can build structures, craft gear, etc etc. The goal of the game is to capture territories and construct cities that can then be ruled by a guild or an alliance of guilds, to take control of surrounding territory that can offer increasingly higher tiered resources with which to craft better equipment for your Alliance's players.

The combat seems similar to that of a moba where you click to move and have several abilities, varying from snares and stuns to heals and run speed buffs etc. You can decide your characters playstyle and abilities by equipping different combinations of armor and weapon types, each piece of gear has several different active and passive effects you can choose to imbue it with at the time you craft said piece of gear.

The progression in Albion is centered around your equipment, as there are no levels in the game. You increase your power by collecting higher tiered resources, and using them to make higher tiered equipment.

Also, the game is FULL loot on pvp death, meaning if you lose your sweet high tier gear to the enemy in battle, you basically start back at the beginning unless your Alliance has set up a good inflow or stockpile of resources and equipment.

The name "Albion" only reminded me of an old RPG.
