I know consider information is gone from target information. I don't want that back.

What I'd like is something that graphically takes the place of that consider information without cheating or giving me any consider information... like you know... a single color for every npc and pc in the entire game... just because I'm used to that region of the screen being highlighted and opaque to make it easier for my eyes to find it.



do any of the ui's do anything like this? is there a way to edit an ini or anything to get this?

No experience as far as UI customization is concerned, but maybe you could try fiddling with placing it over a chat window until you find a better solution? Can't remember if you can change the color of a chat window from the default black in-game, but it might work.

Im pretty sure this is what you're asking. If you right click on the target box it will give you the option to change the background color. All you have to do is choose the color and apply it so it will stand out a bit more on your screen.

OP, if you install the Duxa UI (http://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28335) you can apply a window tint to the target window by right clicking on it, under the "Background" option.

this is EXACTLY what I want...

only problem... when I right click my choices are background---> texture or tint color...

I selected neon green and it did nothing at all. I selected texture and nothing happened... other options of alpha... tried changing those numbers... nothing... Maybe I need to try a reinstall (I did try redoing /load) maybe I've got an outdated duxaui.


I did a bit of a test and I used background----> tint color and texture to turn a chat window neon green... it worked... the only difference between the two windows I can see is that the chat window has background in white and the target window has background greyed out... which I guess indicates it won't work for that window.
