kill all the spiders.. also the derv and zombie near original spawn.. i managed to get a SG to spawn after maybe 30 mins the other day, but cant verify AC because i had to go.

there is another trick, but i will keep that to myself.

There ARE placeholders trust me. If you catch on you can get him to pop nearly every time. But people have to work, have to sleep, etc. and give up at times. So maybe you can get lucky and he just happens to be up when you are running through the zone. Other times you have to camp him for hours at a time. I just kill everything because it gets boring, but you really don't have to kill everything, just sort of the right stuff at the right time. I will tell no more lol.

the ph are the mummies, madmen, ghouls - basically anything but the spiders. So you kill all the buried undead tower mobs, then go to the old spawnpoint for the 3 there, then you run around the desert edge nailing any other bipedals you find. Leave the spiders. During the night you have a small chance of getting a ac to spawn - its usually just sgs tho. GL to you.

I killed everything moving, and got AC in less then 90 minutes a few days ago.

The 30.6 minute spawn is the placeholder (PH) for an ancient cyclops, and can have a mummy, a desert madman, or Barbarian Male a Dervish Cutthroat.

Kill those guys, time it so they repop at night. Got a ring in half an hour while waiting for a port.

The "trick" you mentioned DOES NOT work anymore (doing a /who # search), per a previous patch.

Clearly, your trick is one of the most elusive and mysterious wonders of Norrath. It is so incomprehensible to our puny, little minds.

Your credibility is laughable when you say "kill all the spiders..." I was actually letting you off the hook easy! But you had to respond and dig your hole deeper.

Oh wait, here's a thought! Let's compare how many times YOU'VE gotten the AC to spawn compared to how many times I'VE gotten it to spawn. Another thought, check your IQ when you respond to me next with your less than 2-bit foul language.

sadly, i do not have ANY jboots! you are more than welcome to give me some if u want. my experience on this matter comes from a night i spent camping the AC for someone i met on server way back, and they showed me a link to some sort of guide on the internets which boasted this TOP SECRET. this was before the patch, though so maybe things have changed (but according to the patch notes the PHs did not change, only their spawn locations).

my comment about kill every spider was referring to the fact that a spider is one of the PHs for AC, and now that it can spawn anywhere in zone it could be any of the spiders walking around. sure, you can sit and kill the same one PH for hours on end to get AC to spawn.. or you can not be an idiot and kill all of the PHs.

i would gladly square off with you in an IQ test any day, this aint wat u want bruh.

Single place holder that can spawn in different places around the desert. On a 30m40s timer. If you have the place to yourself and can track the area, kill all the mobs in the desert on his spawn table and the one that pops on the top of your track list 30m40s later is the ph. Good luck getting that place to yourself though.
