Is this armor supposed to be usable by paladins who can't even worship Cazic Thule? Shouldn't it be usable by SKs?

Interested in making an erudite SK, but this would definitely change my mind.

Dang you'd think SK could use too for sure.

zam has it listed as sk...but oldest post is only 2001. so more research needed.

initial entry on lucy is even later, 2002.

I would suggest that you inspect this item in-game on Project 1999 before you make a decision. The P99 Wiki is maintained by the community, and item values on the wiki don't always reflect those in the game code as sometimes wiki contributors make mistakes. I would not cite it as a bug or character creation discouragement until you inspect the equipment in-game and, should you find a discrepancy, please correct the wiki.

Pretty sure it's marked as Velious content, unless you are implying inspecting it on beta.

Also, glancing at the crafting recipe, good freaking luck getting yer hands on terrorantula silk dude. Do not count on getting much Steelsilk, even if it is SK-positive. Dang, I hope they made whatever masochist developed this recipe farm for a whole suit of armor him- or herself as punishment.

i know a dude who has been passively camping those silks for a year, year and a half. he has 40. does not bode well for this armor's availability

That's origin date for lucy, no initial entry in that tool will predate that.

"Hmm Stalwalt sea shield is Paladin only - this armor is for SK/Cleric only"

^Posted 8/25/01 on Alla, which would be a few months before Luclin release. So at the very least it should be SK-useable at some point in the P99 timeline.
