I am foraging for it in Greater Faydark, I wiki'd it and saw that it was a ground spawn as well, was wondering if anyone had information on where the ground spawn(s) might be? Thanks!

Ground spawn... probably up at the top of one of the trees..
Wiki says "drops/foraging". Drops I know are fairies. Forages at night/morning with proper skill.

It is possible to do it with low foraging skill. I managed it on my iksar necro while passing through one day.
Probably got very lucky though :p

Is the faerie drop 100 pct confirmed?

Is it a better rate then foraging?

You get it a lot with high forage. If you are going to kill fairies you prolly need to roll a ranger... and pref with good/mid lvl as you become KOS in g&lfay with them.

Well foraging is 200, so I should just be patient then... Thanks guys :)

Confirmed impossible to forage at noon, when morning dew goes on its lunch break. Why do you even?

Seriously, why do you even? DO NOT farm morning dew by killing fairies on a ranger if you ever plan on doing Raincaller quest, a fletching tradeskill quest with a bit of profit potential.

Cecily, iirc you were collecting them a while ago? Wafts your input? Killing in flay or foraging?

To OP, the best way I found to farm morning dew was to PB AE (Upheaval preferably) the fairy camp with a druid in Lfay and foraging while waiting on respawn.

I am making cultural wood elf armor to raise tailoring, imo it's quicker then fleeting quiver route

IMO as a 200+ elvish tailor, you are correct! Fleeting quivers from 115 would drive you insane within a month's time.

There's a good stack of faeries near the brownie village in LFay. Careful though - brownies path around...don't be mooching around at a low level :p
Not sure if they drop morning dew or not, would be interested to know :)
Is morning dew a sought after item?

If you're a wood elf tailor, yes. Otherwise no. People willing to go through cultural hell are pretty uncommon so there isn't a huge market. Only other use is high elf smithing, and that's nerfed till Velious.
is cultural tailoring the only option (besides fleeting quiver) past 115 pre-velious?

Atm yes. With Velious comes the addition of crystalline silk and wu's armor. Those still won't get you near the skill needed for the new tailored armors, but will probably get you close enough to attempt a shawl combine.

Seriously, why do you even? Because of tracking. You can decimate the camp in lfay pretty quickly with a mid-lvl ranger, then off to track down more while you wait for a respawn. It really doesn't take much to level a ranger for trade skill component farming etc, at least through pre-hell levels which is all you really need. If doing raincaller, just make another more serious ranger to take through hell levels since you'll need the levels anyway with raincaller.
I have a mid-llvl ranger here for farming and fun, but yeah I don't bother killing fairies here apart from a named or two, not since my capped ranger on early live where I did hunt them to extinction. Anyway there, morning dew was as good as gold and always sold out quick. But here it takes too much work to get buyers for the price, may be better off not damaging the faction for them and just buy them. I'm in gfay and lfay a lot, I just never see anyone killing them apart from tricksters in the newbie area.
