Doing the second half of the gnoll slayer quest...

I've read past posts on P99 and I couldn't tell if I'm gonna get just a 15/40 weap or the one with gnoll bane and magic and stuff... anyone clarify if they've done the second half and gotten it? Was one of my favorite quests and it'll be a huge letdown if it's nerfed. If it is then I ask (cmon! it's gnoll bane only!)

My next question is how do I get the sword enchanted? Because according to the reasons it got nerfed back to classic... wasn't this enchanted version classic also?

This is listed in the database a LORE MAGIC; as you can see from the pic, it is not magical. I can verify this, as I have Gnoll Slayer myself.

Now, if they'd just implement the rest of the quest... <sigh>

I think the second part of the quest that Sayer alludes to was always broken or unimplemented until the uber sword quest was put in during Luclin.

All that work to get a weap that doesn't even have gnoll bane dmg... and not even Magic?! Have the devs seen anything like this and gone ahead and added in what was supposed to be? I know it's not going to change anything, but I'm curious.

There was no bane damage on any weapon in the game until Luclin. Lols at your anger.

I don't think the sword was even in the game til SoL. I used to do the quest about once a week on my live ranger so I could have the wolf pet. It was awesome.
