How rare is this earring & is the info about him despawning so quickly correct?

I've killed him about 10 times over the years...i've got 2 earrings...someone else will have to do the math.

Isn't he camped 24/7? all the times ive checked someone is always close and he is not in his spot.

he is static 6hour spawn and despawns after 20minutes

i got 3 earrings in a row, 4/5 spawns...then went a few spawns with nothing

I camped him once, and for me it was 1/4. I think 25% is a good expectation to have.

He is camped almost around the clock. Although one Saturday afternoon a few weeks ago I ran through Qeynos Hills and he was up with no one at this spawn. That was stunning to see.

I believe he is a 50% chance. I have been there for many spawns, and that is what I would go with.

Thank you all for the info & personal experiences. It was camped by someone & more than 1 person just popped by to see if it was available. I was hoping I didn't need to take a weeks vacation from work to get an EB item but o well.. maybe another time.

got two in 3 back to back spawns, then 12 pops in a row with nothing but a fishing pole. this was in 2011 though.

I find often times those camping do not engage within minutes. You then have the right to the kill, but you shld pm them first with logs enabled. I may just be a scumbag, but I took advantage of that before. No earring, so no hard feelings I think

Supposedly if he is holding a pole, no earring

Considering how well camped he is I am surprised he ever survives long enough to prove he despawns!

roll on red and camp it. then you can stay underwater for pvp and wait for the fuckers to drown
