can kite crocs in oasis or orcs for more money (little more risk of adds and other wandering baddies) until 19 then get your new spells and go to EKarana to kite spiders and shit near the HPH ramp.

I stayed in Oasis from 16-19 on Orcs and crocs occasionally. Sure, the exp kind of sucked but there was always a group to get in or soloing. I grouped cause then I can pay less attention.

From 19-24 I did UGuk or Unrest FP grouped. Then 24-31 I did Sol A grouped. From 31-34 I believe I did some Sol A and LGuk groups but not entirely sure I think I started quad kiting gnolls outside paw around here too and continued until 37. After that I quad kited Spectres all the way to 50 with occasional LGuk/Sol B groups when bored.

As far as soloing the whole way that's a pretty easy question... just pick a zone that has mobs you can kill in it and go to town. I never preferred soloing until I could quad kite though as I found the exp to be much less due to a lack of dungeon bonus exp and that Druids basically solo one or maybe two mobs and have to sit and med forever.

14-19 Oasis. 19 - 24 either Hermit in SK or spiders in EK. At 24 you *can* kite hill giants for cash, but its a very long kite. And dangerous untill you get Ensnare. 24 - 30 Gnolls in SK, or other various mobs in SK. 30-37 is drawing a blank. 37-50 Spectres. Hell you can start spectres at 34 if you wanted.

Unrest or UGuk are great places to group at that level, and I'd think you could root-kite mobs there with dots, but i'm not aware how many dots druids have @ lv. 16. There's always something in the karanas. Could do the lv. 14-16 scarecrows in WK, or some of the beetles in NK. Maybe lower level dark elf guards in nek? Although that may be more 19/20.

Edit: try scarecrows or unrest, IMO.

2 aviak guards near arena zoneline in Lake rathe are 16-20. They have a 6.5 minute respawn. There's also 2 other aviaks on a nearby rock in the lake. I'm not sure what their respawn is but its worth checking out since the 2 guards near arena are frequently camped.

Sounds like you're all good up to level 51+, when according to the latest patch "All level 51+ npcs have gained the ability to summon."

Some nice suggestions here! Will definitely check it out.

PS - My first attempt at the Hermit ended badly when I let him get a few too many nukes/dots on me and then I ran OOM. Don't ask my how that happened...

One of the things I recall about the old days were the hours upon hours I camped the Hermit. Do you still have to agro him by saying "I'm going to kill you" or something to that effect?

Some people have said you can. I've never gotten it to work. Simply click on him through the crack in the door, then cast something.

My mage could never get him to come through the door with the tag-line

You could also solo the heart spiders in uguk - stay non-kos to the frogs. The spiders don't stop being good xp till 20, and that easily gets you to your ports. Each kill receives the full ZEM of uguk, which is pretty massive.

It was the best xp i could find up to 20...

There are two areas the heart spiders spawn; one is the natural place where the large heart spider and giant heart spiders spawn, and the other is the top of the pit above where tempus spawns. Play with the spawns a bit - You can easily root one of them, kill the other, and zone into lguk real quick to break up the spawns, as long as you kill the two closer to lguk first. Targeting the ones on the other side first (because of pathing) makes all 4 jump you.

I was always a fan of kiting Griffawns, then Griffons etc. My druid on live, back in the day, practically lived in the Karanas. I've noticed there don't seem to be as many Griffs as I remember in NK. But then again, I haven't been seeking them out and don't have track like I did back then.

I will probably be fastest grouping in Oasis, to be honest.

Ignite sucks for kiting- it just doesn't do enough damage. If you really want to kite, buy your level 14 DD: Expulse Summoned (if you haven't already), and head to Lavastorm. The Lava Crawlers, Imps, and Elementals are all summoned mobs. You can also porcupine the dervishes and drakes (don't waste mana trying to nuke them with ignite, they have really high fire resist). Make sure you have a magic weapon, because most of those mobs require one to hit it.

Also, stop by the druid ring in WC before you go and pick up Ring of Commons. When you hit 19, you can mem and cast it, port back to WC, buy the rest of your Ring spells, then port to NK for all your regular level 19 spells.
