NPCs that charm, will now be able to charm player summoned pets. They will then become a permanent pet of the NPC.

There were many adjustments to the NPC spell casting AI. NPCs should cast a larger range of the spells they have available.

NPC charm will now have a range check. Even dragon charm.

The cursor handling system for items has been revamped. The cursor will now support bags, even while logging now and zoning. There have been changes also to prevent item loss. This is where much testing would be useful. Try to lose items.

Evac and Succor spells now have a chance to leave someone behind.

If you are invulerable, you will be left behind, by any group port spell.

When a trade is completed, items in bags will be placed in the inventory first. This is to preferentially fill up open bag slots first.
Cancel magic effects have totally been rewritten.

You can now be stunned by kick/bash while invulerable.

Looting a corpse while hidden will now change the appearance of the looter to show they are visible. Rogues will get a message that they are no longer hidden.

Feign Death has had a few changes, to make sure getting hit by a spell, breaks FD properly.

Feign Death will increase the chance of it being successful upon a failure. The first attempt will have about a 2/3 chance of mob remembering you. 2nd attempt will be about 50% chance. And a higher chance of success the more tries it takes.

Made a size adjustment to loot corpse distances, to make it easier (or possible at all in some cases) looting very large corpses. There were some very large mobs in Sleepers Tomb that should now be lootable without GM intervention.

Player death now happens below 0 HP. Welcome back the purple club.

If you zone with less HP than the sum of the HP on your gear, all of your buffs will be stripped.

Mobs fleeing due to low HP, will be faster when they start to flee. Have your snare ready.

Specialization skills have been rewritten to apply a fixed percent mana savings.

Giving items to charmed NPCs who do not have quests, will now be lootable when they are killed.

Added mob size corrections to match client max distance, for ranged attacks. +1 assist to Zaela.

PVP: Removed 20% damage penalty for archery.

PVP: Adjusted resist system lower. It should take less resists, to resist spells.

PVP: Resist debuffs, will have a more profound effect. The extra bonus the debuff has, will not be displayed in your resists.

PVP: Player vs Player combat system moved to the RealAC system that is currently used by NPCs against Players.

PVP: Rain spells will have unlimitted player targets in PvP.

anything that sticks out?

Whats the deal with the low hp zone stripping buffs? Why would that happen...I am sure its classic, just wondering about rationale.

It was a classic bug eventually fixed later on. Like many classic bugs, it was an oversight in mechanics. This one just happened to be useful for mainly zoning and dispelling a DoT that would otherwise kill you.

On the flip side if you zoned with low health and no DoT you lost buffs anyways which was a hassle, but less of a hassle than dying... Still a price to pay for such a close encounter.

At one point you used get all the hpts from your gear added back to your health when you zoned. I don't recall when in the timeline that occurred or was patched out. You could also pull +hpt item with more hpts than your current health total when near death to die but avoid losing xp.

The pulling an HP item off is confirmed classic. Unsure if that was patched in here.
