Was just wondering if there are any sites out there that can display text in game in different languages? I'm mainly concerned with East Asian languages (Chinese, Japanese, etc.) I've done an exhaustive search to no avail. I assume it's based on the UI files, would anyone recommend a good site to search for something such as that?

I would look at how the Chinese EQ emulated servers do it. Last I logged into one of them, which was back in 2007, they had both traditional and mandarin Chinese working on their client, as it appeared as boxes on my client. I'd be interested in your findings. I don't speak Chinese, but I would be interested to find out.

May be simple, have you tried changing your font from the default to something that includes Chinese characters?

It's always the most simple. I'll try it next time I'm on to see if it works.
I have seen Chinese text before, but since I've just started that I can't understand most. I do however understand Japanese and would like to at least communicate with those who speak it.
Nice to see someone in Japan respond :D Spent a few years there (Tochigi prefecture) and plan on going back next year.

I asked a little bit ago about Chinese characters, didn't get a response:

For me, sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. If they don't, just rebooting my computer will make them work from what I've noticed.
