It is ok, doesn't do much for me. Respect the game, hell yea. Care what happens, not really.

Premier League is pretty awesome. I really don't follow one team religiously (although if I had to pick a favorite it would probably be Chelsea)... I was honestly more excited because I thought Nottingham Forest was being moved up to the Premier League this year, and it would have been awesome to watch like Man U or Liverpool play Nottingham Forest.

If there are good teams playing I'll watch La Liga or Serie A as well... Champions League too obviously.

People actually watch soccer? :)

Heh, I'm biased. The last time I played soccer in high school, my nose got broken, and some dude called "hands" even though it was less me grabbing the ball, and more me grabbing my now ruined face. :P

PLease dont get me started on the Football vs. American Football arguement. American Football is the greatest sport in the world you foot fairies! There is NO comparison. And if you dont like that...

I mean, i still find stuff like this fun to watch, but on youtube, not enough to sit on my ass for 2 hours and watch it.

I watch both american football and regular football. I have to say that american football is more exciting :p and I'm english... sure it doesn't help the team i support is going backwards under it's new manager... but still.

Also best player you'll see in your lifetime or mine is Lionel Messi. Zidane was world class and a true great... but Messi is a once in 30 years talent.

My wife and I enjoy watching soccer. Wish DC United wasn't in the dumpster, but at least Spurs are set to have a good year.

I like football, but it's getting more difficult for me to watch because of the constant commercials. Seriously, watching an NFL game is more like watching a series of commercials with a sporting event thrown in between.

What if they're Taco Bell commercials?

Hell yay. The last WC wasn't that exciting - a lot of crappy teams, most of em playing defensively and only Mexico really appealed to me. The fact that we got to the finals only to lose against a bunch of schwalbe kings just made this WC a weird experience :)

My club is Feyenoord, but the less is said about that club right now the better. Love watching the Champions League, and Im rooting for Olympique Lyonnais as always.

You both suck. That photoshop took me at least one hour and no lulz. Also in Soccer they are pansies, faking injuries and penalties and crying.

Football is played by men. Big hairy men. Men who aren't afraid to hug another sweaty man to the ground and tell him he's a sissy. Men who do REAL men stuff like steroids and nascar commercials. REAL MEN!!

We'll see! So much of what Messi does is in large part due to his pace, eventually he will lose this.

Lol, nice.

Soccer is just like most sports, in that you can really only appreciate it in its entirety if you have played at a fairly competitive level.

Oh yeah, yay.

Soccer, where you pretend to get hurt to gain advantages.

yay

I love soccer, one of my favorite sports.

I mostly watch the Premiership, the best league by far imo. I'm a Man United fan. I also have been watching some red bulls games since they get Henry.

I also watch Champions league and all that.

Any game where you can spend 3 hours and have a final score of 0-0 isn't worthy of being compared to American Football. I'll be willing to reconsider my position on soccer when they allow they players to carry machetes and authorize the use of deadly force in-game.

Replace the soccer ball with a paper mache ball filled with live hornets. Instant excitement.

Yeah I never see players in football/basketball/hockey/baseball try to deceive the officials.
