Well, it was a slaughter...by the time i logged off port duty on my druid and got my shammy logged in, there was a big pile of reaver corpses already! Rak went down in about 15 seconds i think.....cleric had just enough time to cast 1 heal =)

Hello folks, in the spirit of tradition, i am now officially asking for help in the shammy epic fight in CoM...Rak'ashiir ! My little 48 shammy would definitely appreciate the spear. I have tried contacting the volunteers from previous threads, but it ain't panning out.

((((((Full Disclosure))))) I have never done the fight, so it would be ill advised if i were attempt to lead what ever group amasses....would be liken to the blind leading the ignorant.

My normal play time is weekdays around 6-10pm EASTERN
Weekends vary...but can log on early....like around 7am EASTERN <---- least likely hood of being called in to work.

The date of the battle, obviously, is not set.

It sure as hell doesn't hurt to have it. But yeah, not easy to get at that level unless in a damn good guild or lucky as heck.

I got mine at 51 and let me tell you, shit is so fucking OP against even Kunark mobs in that level range. It'll decrease your leveling time by at least 50% while solo. Groups won't touch the exp.

If you're fighting for scraps in KC with your epic, you're doing it wrong son.

looks like a time and volunteer list has been added. excellent! as far as the list goes, since you are still looking for a rogue, switch me from cleric to rogue. this fight can easily be done with 1 cleric and the group you mentioned!

The more the merrier however. Some of those reaver fights take all day if you lose a DPS. Also same if you lose a DPS on the final fight. Clerics for AOE group heals are a godsend

dodge the procs by weaving in and out. good dps shouldnt take damage on that fight! kinda like queen (chardok royals)

but agreed. more the merrier! 1 group is bare bones, more ensures success!

Stuff like that is part of what makes me enjoy EQ this time around. It was neat to see Moonlight Crusaders, TMO, BDA, IB, Divinity, A-Team, (hope I didn't leave anyone out), and Omni represented - and all there just for the hell of it and having fun.
