What are the odds that these will be poopsocked 24/7 when Velious hits?

Hell, I'm curious about the entire zone of CC when Velious hits. Even the orcs are a good source of income and mats with their velium weapons.

Anyone ever farm the geonids on live? Anyone remember the kind of money one could get soloing them at the level 40 range?

Idk about CC, but I was quadding geonids in Wakening Lands for a little and the best gem I got was a Black Pearl after killing a bunch of them. Gem loot is pretty wrong across the board on the live servers currently, so not sure if they are fixing it for velious.

Their loot tables are ridiculous on The Grand Creation. Almost every other geonid there had a blue diamond.

On live geonids in CC were always a solo camp. Clear to the top run down and wait for repop. So of course they are gonna be camped. Everything is gonna be camped. Othmir in cobalt scar for crusty armor, spiders in dragon necrop for queens carapace and phase spider carapace.

One of the best nights I had in EQ was when the Geonids, Stalags, and Spiders were all uncamped. Good times!

Velious is going to be some ugly stuff in the first 3 months or so for the average person not in a elite Guild. :eek: You will be lucky to kill a thing that drops any good loot for months and months. :(

A lot of people won't just have their main to equip, but another 5 raiding alts as well. Then there are the shared raiding accounts. People gonna be busy for a while.
