A friend wants to join us and Im not sure what the best class would be for a trio.
Any suggestions?

It really depends on the level. A monk will require the enchanter to slow, but will be fast killing.

A necromancer is another excellent choice. Add in an extra mez, root, mana to cleric/enchanter, pet dps as well as heals. I've duo'd bar/chef with just an enchanter on my necro. Necro heals are really underrated, especially once they get shadowbond at 54.

I would advice for a snarer. Druid or necro i think would be best. Both can charm as well, although limited. If everything is snared, risk is much less.

Well I would think a Tank would not hurt. SK makes a good puller, but not till they get FD at 30, and good Tank that can hold agro. Monks can do well as a Tank but not as good as a SK or Warrior can. Pally would be too much overlap of Cleric. Rogue has to be behind mob to stab so without a Tank can't do that. They take agro off of Enchanter pet first hit. :o

Another Enchanter I think would be hard not have each one of them casting same spells at same time when things get Wonky. Yeah Druid suggestion could work but I don't see what they bring to the table other than Ports at times? Snare but so what. Could pull in outdoor zones but a Chanter, Cleric shine in Dungeons. So that sucks for a Druid pulling wise. I think Necro over Druid for sure. I could see that working.Probably would go Monk when I really think about it. A lot depends what level you guys are as you never stated that. Things at high levels are a LOT different than low levels which I would assume you guys are??

Another enchanter.

Or a shaman for dog pet on charm breaks, root, spot heals, slow/tanking, snare necklace if Inny troll, SoW

Shaman at 60. Leveling? Druid would make outdoor charming very easy. Mage or necro also a solid addition . I'd personally avoid adding a melee unless you want a full group aetup. Clr and enc work well because they don't have to soak that melee damage directly.

Second enchanter to maximize potential.

Monk next best.

Tried with a monk just now and it was very nice. Had a charmed pet as well and dps was good. Only worry about this trio is aggro when we get to the point where slowing is needed. Was also thinking necro or druid would be good :-)

There's tons of classes you could realistically use as your third. Are you planning on running this trio at 60 in dungeons or just goofing around leveling?

The goal is to find a fast way to 60 with some good friends. Have been in befallen and guk so far, and think were gonna go for good zem zones with decent loot.
At 60 we will farm some items, or thats the plan i guess :-)

Druid, Necro, Enchanter, or Shaman. All tweak your play style slightly, but all would add a ton of power.

If you're ever wanting to farm, your third needs to be one of these (in order of best to decent):

Second ENC
Monk
