Hey guys , i was wondering what is a good starter class to get to 60 on red? This is under the consideration that I will not transfer from blue to red and will be starting fresh.
Thanks!

When it all boils down to it, play the class you enjoy the most. Playing on Red99 isn't easy so if you really want to make it work here, play what you like and prefer the most. It'll make the hard dark times easier to handle hehe
Welcome to Red99

Red needs more bards/rog/war/monk/clr. You might have an easier time with some dru/shm but you're gonna be fighting for loot with a hundred others if you are rolling right now.
Compare that to bard which is a capable solo class and there's maybe 3 that I've seen leveling up.
Rogues going to be a hard road but again there's going to be less competition for items on the way up for that reason. Warriors going to be a long road with little competition. if you want to be a main tank roll a warrior and you're going to be able to get there if you can ride it out to 60. Clerics are going to be smooth sailing, highly desired in groups just be a little bit social and you're gonna go far and loots going to rain all over you. Monks are great dps and super fun with moderate competition for items.
I'd probably avoid any other class.

If you enjoy all classes equally, Enc or Shammy. Enc if you want to do more work and be the best possible farmer; Shammy if you want to do somewhat less work but still be a pretty great farmer.
Definitely don't run anything that's highly gear-dependent---no melees, definitely no tanks.
