What nice things have you done in EQ lately?

I've been thinking that with all the negative posts over in the R&F section, and that post floating around about how P99 doesn't have the 'right' community, that we should talk about the good things that we have done and have had done to us.

I'll start of (with the most recent events);
1) helped some newbies retrieve their corpses from Blackburrow after they fell down
2) handed out some quest items from Blackburrow to newbies
3) provided speed song rides to Qeynos

On the receiving end;
1) had a nice druid from Lost Souls portal me to Butcherblock from the Karanas for free
2) all the helpful answers to questions I ask in game

Receiving end, some random bard ran after me and grouped to gimme speed-song. Wheeeee.

a halfling druid that I sadly do not recall the name of gave me a FS hammer and some buffs on my halfling druid, which was awesome! Sadly I'm playing a DE Warrior and I can't even get that nice hammer over to my warrior :x

Oh well, the price of being new to the server!

Nice things -
Randomly handed out money.
Killed Priest of Najena for an enchie in europa when I saw it was up 'cause I had a key.
Buffed anyone who's asked or any time I've been sitting somewhere with lowbies for any amount of time.

To me-
Had a guy join a group and say he didn't want loot, but that it was cool that we were invising over to specific targets, he thought it'd be fun. Saved our asses once.

Gave a lowbie group some bronze. Hooked up two Rogues with SBD's. Cooked my girlfriend dinner.

- What I dun: Always buff folks and hand out pie. Never charge for anything a cleric can do.

- Dun to / for me: Had a necro give me 25p when I was level 3 to fetch some bandages from RV for them.
- Many buffs / DS cast on me randomly
- Posted here for advice on a weapon and Trilana hooked me up with a wonderful item from Kith
- As a halfler, I make pie and give it out. Everytime I go through EC and spam WTB: Eggs people give them to me...
- Had a druid give me 4 stacks of berries and fruit for free in the FP bank

I overpaid a shaman trying to make some plat on sow potions (paid more than they were asking for). Also, I (as a necro) donated some mana to a druid that was giving out free buffs in the EC tunnel. Oh, and I donated a couple plat to somebody that was giving out free buffs in EC.

I've been soloing the Orc1 camp in EC several times lately for faction (it's all green to me). When I see lowbies hovering around, I let them have the camp as long as I can whack each mob once :cool:

I saw oot ac camp open and just decided to kill it to see if I got lucky...AC in 5 spawns, gave ring to stranger monk named Quay who just happened to be in the zone. :)

My druid recently became of age, so I've been SoWing and binding everybody who asks.

It's the least I can do for the community in return for the hundreds of free SoWs, buffs, and ports I've received over the last 6 months on my numerous alts.

I was playing an alt in Qeynos hills and some high-level druid was camping Pyzjn while buffing newbies all around. He got a bit eager with the buffing and would manastone down to 5% hp, and at one point he was both completely OOM and nearly dead when Pyzjn spawned on top of him and killed him. She had a GBS, too, and since the druid had just finished buffing me when she spawned, the little bitch aggroed me but died to the DS. I gave the stone to the druid who had been camping her for days for his necro main or something, and he gave me a blue diamond and a lifetime free port certificate. And there must be such a thing as karma, because when I went to camp it on my 27 shaman, it took an hour to get her to spawn and she had the stone the first time.

A few nights ago I was killing Ogre guards in Oggok trying to get a Crude Stein. A group of L1 Ogres came up and started marveling at what I was doing. Their names as I remember were Parishilton, Lindsayloh, and Itchie (I think I got that right). As I was killing the guards I gave each of them a FS weapon that they could use for their paticular class. Then when I got my Stein I ported them all to Steamfont (they wanted to go to Gfay I have no idea why) let them to the Gfay zone bound them near the Lfay zone and buffed the snot out of them. I live for stuff like that.

I gave away three backpacks worth of Splitpaw stuff to low levels in gfay, and crushbone.

Receiving: While trying to do my staff of temperate flux quest I got desperate and started /telling 50 wizards. Someone came and helped me kill the skellys in lake rathe, and I got the last part to my quest.

I was camping the mage focus items in najena for a week. Very nice mages everywhere, we gave each other focus items the others needed. I was given a shovel and a broom, and allowed to loot a torch. I also helped other mages camp even when I had all my items. Very nice people on this server.

My buddy got charmed by a Rev in Plane of Hate last night and for the first time ever, I didn't immediately target him with my /main assist macro and get him killed. :)
