From a thread earlier in the year... there's some debate over it for sure.

There's talk on EQ Allakhazam that the Shralok Pack never actually went Lore. Should I be worried about having more than 1 on me at the moment?

Shralok Pack just says PENDING LORE, does not ever become lore.

Bonus Round: Should have the "Pending Lore" tag for the life of the server. "Removed the "Pending Lore" tag from the Shralok Pack. There is no current plan to make this into a lore item." Was not removed until November 19, 2002.

Was simply a cosmetic change for the sake of feeling classic :D

Some of that debate tho :p Ele is one of the most informed/credible sources on these forums imo.

It was never LORE.

They finally noticed it was never LORE.

I remember specifically when this happened on live. The item went lore for a very short period of time. When it went lore all the additional bags and items within poofed from inventory. I can only imagine the backlash from the community caused the dev team to remove the lore status from this item immediately. It never went lore again.
