Vannar - P99 Player dead at 30

I have some sad news to report.

My childhood best friend, Shawn Ryster, died early Monday morning in a traffic accident.
He introduced me to Everquest in 1999 and recently started playing here on P99.
I believe he was in Taken.

He is survived by is Wife and 2 daughters.

Vannar was a full member of Taken. He and I chatted several times during his short time with us, and he was ridiculously funny and a joy to associate with.

Really Terrible to hear this. I ran into Vannar a couple months ago and we realized we played Live together on Xegony. We spent lots of Friday nights in our early 20s bullshitting in PoTime.

As a 67 year old turd I can tell you a LOT of bad things happen in ones life on average. I can feel your pain. Lost my father when he was 48, lost my first wife to cancer at 39 years old, all my grandparents gone, 3/4 my aunts and uncles, some best friends to war and disease etc. And I am probably reaching the end myself soon. It will get worse in your life, but I know some mean a lot more than others sad to say.

Not much of a condolence post I know, but we, as humans, take a beating on losing friends and loved ones. Such is the fate we are given. :(

I feel like everyone on this server on some degree understands me and my interests better than most of the public. I've never had an orc hill group where everyone wasn't in agreement of how great this game is compared to every other game and why.
