Can you Quest assist?

back in the day you used to be able to hnd an item to an NPC and then have a second person hand in another item to finish the quest handin.

example would be someone would loot ring of the ancients. they could then hand it over to quest npc, then secomnd person hands in the rest and they get the reward. or metal pipe from pawduster for monk epic. etc etc

does that work on p99?

Nope, and never will with currently implemented quests:

There are 11900 quests in the server. Create a solution that doesn't require those to be rewritten...AKA within the source or within the %itemcount plugin and we'll def take a look at it hard....but I'm not rewriting 12000 quests. Die.

As others have mentioned above, multiquesting does not work on this server.

Doubt it ever will. The way EQEmu is coded, an NPC checks if you handed in all of the appropriate items at once, and does not "store" unfinished quest turn ins like NPCs did on live.

That stinks. I made extra cash on live from Multi Questing. I am sad.
