Well it seems like Kunark is kinda in limbo since WI and their two player/devs have left. I do have a suggestion as to how we can add some new content before Kunark's release:

1) The devs could spend some time on the revamp of the planes. Revamping Hate and Fear would really make a difference. The challenge of taking on that content at max 50 would be a fucking blast :)

2) The Hole could be released. One more 40+ dungeon with a cool Boss mob would ROCK.

We are gonna stray from the goal of simulating 1999 anyway (we already have). I think these two ideas can be implemented fairly quickly but perhaps I am wrong. Anyways that's my 2cps.

Kunark is not 'in limbo', despite what you may have read otherwise.

You have no idea what you're talking about :P The one developer that quit the game wasn't a content developer. The other one quit playing, but is still a developer. Kunark is worked on everyday. Kunark development doesn't rest solely on 1 or 2 people, thankfully. I guess I'll write up a content letter.

I do have a suggestion as to how we can add some new content before Kunark's release:

I just want new content. I don't want Kunark to be released and be buggy, that is all. Sky is still kinda buggy (I am no expert on Sky but the scripts are not functioning on 5 that is for sure).

I would love for the release to be a legit as possible. It would be a bummer if the same pattern that has been going since the start is repeated: content is released. It is not working right. Top guilds benefit from the bugs. Months later it is finally fixed.

Well I don't work on command.

When you see a thread posted by me with the date and/or progress of Kunark development, then you'll have what you seek. Kunark isn't even overdue on the historical timeline, so be patient.

As long as all of the prenerf shit is dropping a good long time in kunark I will be happy.

I am still aggravated with how thex daggers were put in sneaky like and poofed sneaky like. But, whatever, they're not a big deal.

I know you're not a developer here, but surely you can see how posts like this are annoying.

Then leave the devs alone so they can work on it!!!!! In the time it took nilbog to come answer you, he could have been working on making rangers be desirable in groups. :( Thanks a f'n lot.

I have grouped with you on an alt and have to say that you did a great job. You timed the spawns and were great at pulling.

Just an observation from someone who has played on the server for a long time. I am not sure what the solution is, perhaps having the test server up and letting the guilds test the content for a couple of weeks might help.

Pretty sure that ends up getting retroactively nerfed (like insta cast peg cloaks)... so it'll be awesome for like the short time that it actually has regen.

Are you guys talking about the fungi cloak from one of the warders in ST in velious? I think you are. And it doesn't get nerfed ever, just stops dropping after the sleeper is awakened.


I guess I'll write up a content letter.

This would actually be really really cool, and much appreciated.

How can you simultaneously say you are still aggravated, while also stating that the source of your aggravation is not a big deal?

The manner in which it was put into the game, and the manner in which it was removed, is the aggravating part.

The Spirocs were not respawning after being killed before the Vanquisher was killed. They were able to be split and single pulled. This was not a challenge. The Lord was tho, triple attacking and duel wielding Wingblades. 6 attacks a round for 350 is NASTY.

They were working the last time I did them. So either they were broken in the last patch or so or youre mistaken.

Thanks mang, when ever it comes out is cool with me! Thank you for all your hard work, and if any of you think this is kissing up your far from right, I can't imagine what type of work goes in to writing the code for emu so everyone should be kissing ass IMO, simply because if it weren't for their work we would be playing somthing else...or even worse, live or WoW! (would never do wow but yea) :rolleyes::cool:
