Dislike the open book appearance. Every closed book I have seen so far thats quested is geared towards a good aligned character, what closed book is available for a Dark Elf Cleric thats attainable?

i actually enjoy helping people with this quest... the page npc is nearly always up in high pass, and then its just some gold to that erudite in qeynos... longest part is running and getting the random card from the erudite.

i just reinstalled the game and im a 51 human druid maybe we can make this happen sometime if its not impossible from religion/faction/some other variable im ignorant of

Me being a Dark Elven Cleric worshipping Inny is what worries me. The Highpass NPC I can kill on my main then loot with my Cleric, its the Qeynos thing that was concerning me.

You could try getting the testament of vanear with this halfling illusion (http://wiki.project1999.com/Skinned_Halfling_Face_Mask). It doesn't last more than a minute or two so you'd need to be quick.

half ling quest mask helps boost your faction, you get it as a single charge from the disciple neck quest, also wolf form should help you don't talk to any paladins or anything for it.
