I was asked to speak about BDA tonight

Being the eternal white-knight of lower Guk, I came across a situation tonight...


Turns out a couple of BDA gentlemen by the name of Babbin and Chopsooy (sp?) were starting crap tonight against a few groups of noobies in guk tonight, when a multitude of them sent tells asking for an officer online so they can speak with them, they were caught with ignores and replies like "fuck off" or "you deserved it". Now considering none of these BDA were inside guk watching their members train and steal nameds from these groups intentionally, and I was, I think an apology is in order for the gentle-people of Guk tonight.

Many of my 0% rezzes were given out to those bound far away, and it shouldn't have been the case. One of your clerics should have showed up with a click stick at the least.

Thank you to Eunomia, whom I was told, who was the GM to begin the investigation of the two individuals who were training said groups of said players. And kudos to the individuals who were asked to supply the name of an officer to handle the situation before having to involve the busy GM's. Hopefully the motherfuckers who did the training get suspended, unfortunately the ones protecting them won't. Regardless, more shitty reputation for you from a bunch of guildless kids hoping to have fun in the end-game eventually. You don't have to expect them in the future after tonight. At least the ones who sent your guild tells asking for a name of an officer.

For those with more input then I have on the situation, please feel free to post screenshots or your story on the situation, because all I witnessed was the monk deliberately training three groups after failing to steal two nameds, until he realized I saw him then he bee-lined for the entrance and plug pulled during zoning.

My best guess is probably the one who said 'fuck off' were having a bad night, and the one who said 'you deserved it' was an alt or main of the ones that did it. lol

I know a lot of people in BDA, most are excellent people through and through. I highly doubt myself that it would have been said by a random irrelevant individual to the situation. lol

I believe you have Babbin confused with someone else, as I am Babbin, and an officer, and I didn't pull/train anyone. I am also a Halfling Rogue, and level 26. So no reason I would pulling at all. I leveled in BR with Chopsooy (sp?) and three other BDA for about an hour, and logged off in the moat with zero aggro on me. Never left the BR.

Can't speak to what happened after I logged off, but I never even saw another group let alone tried to train/ks them.

Heck, just a couple weeks ago I was soloing Ass/Sup on my 40s shaman and my pet was chasing a mob down the ladder and fell through the world and into the floor below and aggroed everything from 4-way up to where I was - and it murdered the group around Executioner/Sage on the way back.

The guy literally threw a shuriken at the mobs near safe hall while standing above near ritualist... That on its own is a huge train causer. Then he waited til the mobs got near the group to make his bee line towards entrance and plug pulled because me and the enchanter saw him do everything. He, being a monk, could have easily FD'd the train before it became one. He killed two group with that train intentionally. No way in hell it was accidental. The only time he FD'd was near entrance to save his scaly hide from dying on the run there, and that was long after the mobs decimated the two, maybe more, groups.

Right now, the only ignorance I see is by those who are justifying what he did as accidental, because it was no accident, especially considering he was probably mad that the group he wanted to train got to the ritualist before he did.

Well this is the first time I have experienced this as a level 30 monk. The reason I kept flopping and running to zone was to try to derail the train and zone it before it could get up top I thought I was successful in that. In hind site I prolly should have /q but as I just said that is the first time that mobs kept aggro after FD on me. If I caused anyones death I sincerely apologize. If I had known anyone had died I would have had my wife log on her clicky cleric to rez them.

#2 I got no tells from anyone about anything and I certainly didnt tell anyone to fuck off...

#3 I didn't try to steal anyones trash named in Guk lulz. I was pulling from that area when the group moved in earlier and they asked me not to pull it any more, so I didnt. I dont try to start shit.

1# You didn't get any tells because you went offline immediately upon zoning. Trust me, I waited on the opposite side for you to see what was up before everyone freaked out.

2# Why in the hell, knowing there is a chance of failure, would you test range on your weapons by using the single most capable method of causing a train in guk, with a group who was visibly 15 feet from you and inbetween you and said mobs pathing?

3# Regardless of if you claim it wasn't intentional, it was still a dick move of you, especially considering you q'd out on the zone instead of helping assist the rest of us in cleaning up the mess. You flopped one time from what I saw (i watched you the entire time you ran), and I don't know if it was a failure or not, but you could have at least tried at the beginning instead of right after the mobs were done killing everyone.

If you really want to apologize, send me a tell in-game and I can give you a list of the noobs you wiped out. Chances are they don't come to this shithole part of the forums.

I don't think that's necessarily the case after the most recent patch. I believe they added a mem blur component to FD now. It's like 50% the first flop and then increases on successive FD attempts.
