Something like fraps, but free. Anyone? What do you use?

What you recording? Wasn't there some /log for players to have txt of all the stuff or some /command to keep a log?

obs records things pretty well, and does it for free. It also can be used to stream to twitch.

If you have an nvidia card, I hear shadow play works pretty good.

VLC can do screen recording

shadowplay if you have the right nvidia hardware works great with no performance hit like fraps.

There's a good kickass version of Bandicam, does the job well and I found it to be less of a resource hog than Fraps.

like a few have said, OBS works great. you can set it up to record a local video instead of streaming to twitch.
