Do any forum readers have experience with this? The only way I know to do it is kill the shadowed men. I think I need to be amiable for some of the quests. Does anyone have any idea how many kills that would take?

This is hell on a druid, lol. Before you even ask, yes I know this is obsessive and I should just buy whatever quest items I want. For some reason, I've always thought it was amazing to be able to do repeatable quests. One of my grand accomplishments on P99 is farming Stein of Moggok with a druid.

Theres that item that spawns in the graveyard of MM. And then you turn it into that shadowman behind the crypt. IIRC this gives solusekro faction... I might be mistaking this for some other ro faction, but iirc you can just pick that up and turn it in a million times.

But like I said i could be competely wrong.

shadowmen or there is a guy in sro north west corner you give like 2plat or something like that to, raises faction each time

It works ... ya can also turn in those cutthroat rings to the orc in south ro...and there is an erud in the tent behind the orc that gives sol ro faction for 3p

I did this and boosted my faction quickly and painlessly.

Turn in Dervish Cutthroat rings to Ortallius (the named orc in South Ro) for faction, too.

Go to Southern Ro and the guy behind Ortallius is named Rathmana Allin. He is a Erudite. You can hand him 3p (or 30gp like he asks) and he will give you a spell in return and +faction for Temple of Sol Ro. I brought 300p to him and got my faction to Ally. The trick is....bring all empyt bags, turn in your 300p, you'll get a spell in return. These spells sell for 1gp to 5pp. It's random and in the end I walked away with 400p and ally faction.

For some reason faction was bugged with me. They won't change unless you log or zone. I was doing it for an hour, giving him 3p and selling the spells, then giving him 3p etc.....I gave up, I was still indifferent. I was thinking that I was on the high end of indiff at least, so I ran back to the Temple of Sol Ro to try my luck and when I zoned in everyone was Ally with me....cool?

How did I get to this seeing that you start with a neutral indiff faction? Well, I was doing my Darkforge Armour quest and I was trying to turn in the items one at a time and the quest guy wouldn't take my individual items....duh.....so I figured it was a faction issue (I killed the book guy one time, just once! The one in Mistmoore) and I thought that I was on the low indiff faction for that one kill. Well, that wasn't the case, as it turns out, you have to hand in all items at once to receive your quest reward....I wasted a lot of time running back and forth....doing faction...going back and so on.....

Well, just give 3p to the Erudite behind the orc. I hope that helps.
