Currently a 2012 Nissan Versa hatchback. It's cute. I had a VW New Beetle for 6+ years, probably buying a new one as 2nd car in a few months.

Between the wife and I we have a couple of Buicks and a Cadillac. I never really cared for sports cars; give me something that's big and floaty.

2001 Toyota Camry. Currently worth what I paid for it 45,000 miles ago. Mexicans constantly leaving notes on it wanting to buy it. I get in it, put in a key, the wheels turn, and 19 minutes later I'm at school. Car is loyal, dependable, and full of memories. When it finally dies 500,000 miles from now, I'm going to bury it on my property. When I die, I'm going to have them dig down to it and put me in the trunk.

Toyota FJ Cruiser. Best offroad vehicle I've ever had. Best onroad vehicle I've ever had. Has a loud system that I open up on the beach. Is extremely durable and makes it easy to get over the bright yellow color. It definitely strengthened my opinion on Toyota vehicles.

Me too. Before I got my SUV mom-mobile I always drove Celicas. Aside from the occasional oil leak issues they were all great cars. The oldest was an '82, which I gave to an ex-boyfriend when we split up back in 2000 and he tells me it's still running strong with hundreds of thousands of miles on it. Lol.

I grew up living in a house by a river. Does that count? All my bills total for my tiny apartment are around $800 a month. I'm personally fine with living in a van as i would have power for laptop and mini fridge and would have a membership to gym for showers and some pickup Bball games. I can goto my job for wifi or restroom whenever i want. Save up 7kish over the spring/summer/fall and get a decent ride and new place or continue with the lifestyle if i enjoy it. I lived in my car when i was 16 and 18 for a few months each time and that was the saturn and z24 i mentioned earlier so not much room and survived.
Oh and have you ever actually lived by a river? There is nothing like that fresh water smell in the morning. It's very relaxing and enjoyable until it floods and you have to take a canoe home from the bus stop after school.

Grew up in a canyon, with acres and acres, and a river ~100 feet from the house, wouldnt trade my childhood for the world. Wish I could afford a piece of land like that now.

Like I said in the OP. i am a muscle car guy. I have owned 10 firebirds, 4 camaros, a corvette, a jaguar and a bunch of other not so great cars. The crappier cars include a Rav4 5 speed that I loved, a POS jetta, a POS saturn, a POS jeep and I am sure there are some other POSs I am forgetting about.
Like I said, I am a huge firebird nerd. There are only 1600 hardtop ls1 firebirds (I have owned two) There are less than 300 WS6 hardtops with this motor, and here is one of them:D
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y103/stngeatng96brd/photo1.jpg (http://s4.photobucket.com/user/stngeatng96brd/media/photo1.jpg.html)
Look at the difference washing the wheels makes!:eek:
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y103/stngeatng96brd/photo2.jpg (http://s4.photobucket.com/user/stngeatng96brd/media/photo2.jpg.html)
There are not very many firebirds on the road anymore. And even during firebird get togethers my hardtop WS6 stands out. Of those < 300 hardtop WS6's ever produced this one is my favorite color and a 6 speed manual. It is almost the perfect firebird.

2012 KIA Forte Koup. Photo not my actual car but close enough. Spunky shiny roller skate with 173hp 2.4L I4 that does 35mpg (I do about 40k km/year 90% highway) and cheap enough to just throw away after 5 years when the bumper to bumper warranty expires. Been a good car, but I still miss my 2006 Grand Prix GTP :(

Ah. I wish it didn't happen, Nice car to be in for an accident tho huh?
Daily driver is an F-150. Gets swapped every two years as its a company vehicle.
Motorcycle is an '05 Anniversary Edition GSXR-750.
Toy car is an '02 WS-6 TA. Manual trans. Original with 56k on it.
Wife is rocking a new '15 Acadia Denali.
Just picked up a '53 Chevy 3100 5 window to fix up pretty quick for my dad as a retirement gift.
Best part of all is car payments = $0!

Thanks. I think only a special breed of people appreciate the TA like TA owners do, even with all of GM's shortcomings. Hard tops were pretty rare in the later years (based on production numbers). I almost never see them now.

Boy I miss my 02 WS-6. Biggest regret I have is not buying it out after the lease was up.

Vauxhall Astra VXR
2.0 litre Turbo producing 276BHP.
It's the most un-economical car i've bought, its heavy, has terrible turbo lag, and i smack my head every time i put my toddler in his car seat.
The petrol head inside of me took over on this one for sure. Currently looking at downgrading somewhat..

That 72 Subaru was damn near indestructible....oh the memories! The spare tire actually sat on top of the air filter under the hood and was held on via a wing nut. Simply AWESOME! :D
