Help me complete MeatQuest!

I am only 7 meats short of finally completing my playable-race meat epic (Obtaining a stack of every kind of edible racial meal).

Please let me know if you have either of these meats laying around in your bank or in a bag. I'm paying more than usual for them.

Anyone know of a decent place to get Troll Meat while we're at it? There are no troll raider/slayers in Innothule, only the Slayer Captain which makes absolutely no sense.

Troll guards do not drop troll meat, sadly. I believe the Slayers patrolling the swamp do, as well as Lockjaw, who eats all sorts of meat.

So yeah... Lockjaw is the only source of Troll Parts that I know of, and that's hit or miss. Lockjaw is like the p99 racial meat lottery.

If someone out there knows of a secret reliable stash of Troll Parts, please let us know!

Seems that there was at one time.

Innothule Swamp - Troll Slayer. He normally roams arout the very middle of the swamp, but now he's not attacking anyone/anything. When hailed, he gave me the troll guard aggro "I shall pluck you limb from limb"-message immidiately followed by with whatever message it is troll guards generate when they've killed someone (something like "that's what you get with messing with da bashers", can't remember). But he didn't attack me (fortunately, I'm an ogre, but the message kinda startled me =p). Looked kinda bothersome when the troll just stands there next to some human-paladin npc not bothering to attend to any of their well-recorded racial tensions. I recall the troll being an insane undercon who'd whip people in their early lvl20s noprob, running amuck in the swamps killing everything at sight. Now he simply roams about, unarmed even, an utter pacifist.
-innothule-troll slayer missing levels added. he is also now the undercon he should be. faction corrected; he will now KS you properly.

This sounds likely as the next step. You must hand in all meats to the froglok pickler? Just check with a gm first in case it is not the next step in the quest, but it makes sense to me. No meat is complete, without being pickled. That's common sense.

MAYBE the reason the Slayer Captain doesn't have any of his meat-filled troops with him is because of a tragic expedition to Oasis, during which his entire army was defeated and eaten by the evil Lockjaw!

Slayer Captain, being so embarrassed to have lost his raiding force to a mere crocodile in a leveling zone now hides out in the swamplands, unable to muster the strength or will power to engage in further combat?

I smell a new Starting Zone (http://www.project1999.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=71) quest. And it smells like Troll Parts.

That's weird, because I distinctly remembered killing the troll slayers back when I farmed up necklaces for the Forager Bag. I just checked my logs, and I recorded a total of 20 captain kills and 3 troll slayer kills. The latest was January 2014, so either it's been changed since then, the spawn is broken, or you're just unlucky. :)

I work on EQ:Next and I have been put in charge of Lockjaw 3.0. I tell you this secret at the risk of my job at the new Sony...err Daybreak LLC.

As of this latest build, Lockjaw torments the Oasis: he's the scourge of all who step foot on those pristine, idyllic beaches. Some players must swear allegiance to Lockjaw, in which case he will not harm them. Instead, they must help do battle and defend him from the teeming masses of Lockjaw haters, hungry for Glowering Wooden Crooks. Whenever they fall victim to Lockjaw, their flesh is consumed entirely.

Once Lockjaw the mighty falls in battle, his stomach explodes in a pinata of racial parts. Every race he slayed is regurgitated for all the good little bakers of EQ:N.
