All right, I swear I've read the appropriate materials, used every program, used every link, that naked human will not stop taunting me.

No, I have no virus scanners that might interfere with the .DLL file.

Yes, I have the current version of the red99 patchfiles.

Yes, all software updates available are done for drivers etc for my hardware.

No duplicate files exist that may interfere with normal operation.

My buds with working games actually MAILED me a thumb drive with a correct copied configuration that yields exactly the same result.

As referenced by one user in multiple threads I even tried absolutely pounding the ass-end of this mother with login attempts to see if quantity was better than quality, with equal amounts of impotency.

Use a different computer. Sorry for your loss.

Have you tried putting your EQ Directory on Desktop instead of C: Drive?

I know this solved issues of logging in/getting the client to boot up for several people. Try delete your spellfile, and your .dll file, drag EQ to your desktop, replace with P99 patch files.

The server does often make this error all on its own.

For instance, I know my spells file is always up-to-date, yet I get this error no less than 20 times per week.

You post this to every post about spell files out of date and 99% of time its because of user error. Pretty sure your the only person that gets random spell files out of date 20 times a week and i cant remember any thread actually ending with "oh hey i finally got in after 20 tries".

It's important that people know it's not necessarily them or anything they can do anything about.
I'm not the only one it's happened to, and it's been going on for years.

No idea why it was messing with me but it fixed itself. I did nothing...
