Convinced a buddy to come back to the fold and he wanted to play a cleric so naturally i told him i would roll a warrior but come to find out with no armor its just terrible borderline unplayable and i started like a month and a half ago so i have some cash but no tradeskillers

Does anyone have or know someone that would make me a set of small fine plate for a reasonable price?

Maybe check in the EC Tunnel sub-forum ^^ might have better luck there, or in the Starting Area forum. Warriors can be pretty rough without gear :/ Beyond the banded, I would try to pick up a green jade broadsword and a sword of sky fire or sarnak pitchtaka. Alternatively you could try oh obsidian shards or skorpicus claw impalers for aggro (don't proc until 30 iirc), but as a warrior don't expect to get or hold aggro on your own until you've gotten 35+ levels and some decent proccing weapons.

My advice, I'd forgo the FS armor, and stick with banded. Yes, it is less AC, and doesn't look as cool, but a set of FS costs about 10x what a set of banded costs. Use the money you save there to buy earrings/rings/non vis pieces with + str/sta/hp. That'd be my suggestion, although some may disagree.

Also, some awesome and cheap warrior weapons...

What lvl are you guys? Also what race? You can pick up a set of bronze armor killing stuff or just going to a zone and asking.

For small races, hang out or hunt in Mistmoore. Drops like candy there.

Level SEVEN and its borderline unplayable without gear? Thats just insanity. Make yourself patchwork, in a few levels farm corflunk and zarchoomi and voila, youre in a set of bloodforge armor. Beetle armor and youre in good shape. Dont know anything about high elf questable pieces...

AC cap is so low for starting warriors that it really doesn't make much difference that you have armour or not. But it's very easy to get reasonably good armour by simply killing for skins/furs and selling Med & High Quality to other players for plat. Just through soloing, my warriors tend to be decked in bronze or equivalent by 10th level.

What level are the things you are fighting?

Is your defence skill capped?

In my experience warriors can be fighting zombies and the occasional mummy with cloth armour at seven, provided you haven't out levelled your defence skill.

Try getting a 10 to 14 DMG weapon with as low delay as possible.
